How to open the Arris admin page
Connect to the Arris router by Wi-Fi or Ethernet. Open a browser and enter the Default Gateway shown by your device. Use the administrator password from the device label, setup process, provider instructions, or official recovery flow. Do not enter the password into this guide.
Does Arris use 10.0.0.1? Selected Arris products or installations can use 10.0.0.1, but 10.0.0.1 is not guaranteed across every model. Check the live Default Gateway before opening the 10.0.0.1 admin page. Do not type 10.0.0.0.1; that five-part form is invalid.

Arris is not one universal interface
Arris manufactures retail SURFboard modems and routers as well as gateways supplied by cable providers. Modem signal pages and full router administration are different interfaces and can use different addresses.
192.168.100.1 often opens cable modem diagnostics rather than Wi-Fi router settings. Provider-owned Arris gateways may use branded firmware and provider-specific access rules.
SB-series cable modems focus on connection status and signal information.
S-series and G-series products can combine modem and router functions.
Provider-branded gateways may not resemble the retail SURFboard interface.
