Type the complete address into the browser bar—not a search box. Try explicit HTTP and HTTPS once each when the interface does not redirect automatically.
Use the device’s own login

NETGEAR is not one universal interface
NETGEAR uses both numerical private addresses and the routerlogin.net local name. Nighthawk routers, Orbi mesh systems, cable gateways, and extenders can present different setup screens and may be managed by separate mobile apps.
A NETGEAR router may move to the 10.0.0.0/24 subnet when another gateway already occupies 192.168.1.1. The live Default Gateway is therefore more reliable than a memorized address.
Nighthawk products commonly support the Nighthawk app and a local browser interface.
Orbi uses an Orbi-specific app but also offers local administration on many models.
Cable modem routers may expose modem diagnostics separately from router settings.
